Dorothy's Story
Life
I retired in 2002 after 26 years with the Albuquerque Schools. I took about a year and a half off to just relax. When retirement got too boring I went to work for CH2M Hill - OMI. They are an international company involved in running water and wastewater plants around the world. I am currently working for their Rio Rancho project. I was just promoted to office manager for four of the project's programs: meter insatllation, meter repair and replacement, backflow prevention devices, and domestic well permitting. so just completed the certification process for my Level One Water Operator's license, as far as I can tell I am now fully qualified to run the water system in beautiful downtown Pep. It is quite a change from teaching but I am learning so much new information. In my spare time I quilt, perform with the Westside Community Chorale, and I am very active in my church. I currently live in Rio Rancho with my four cats.
